Mel grew up on the family sheep and beef farm in South Otago, where her two brothers now continue to farm. She has worked in the agriculture sector most of her career - with the past 10 years in fertiliser advice and sales.
Mel strongly believes in a holistic approach to your fertiliser, looking at the whole system including soil health and animal health, as well as the nutrient needed. Her client relationships are important to her, which is apparent as she continuously delivers exceptional results and service.
Passionate about rural NZ and farming, Mel joined the Groundswell team at the end of 2020, and continues to volunteer time here today, as she believes agriculture really is the backbone of our country - if our farmers are thriving, we are all thriving.
